Enrollment

The initial steps involve an interview between Umara Sinhawansa and the interested student prior to enrollment to assess the level of talent and basic aural and vocal capabilities. Only students who demonstrate a basic level of singing and note recognition skills will be offered enrollment. This stringent test has been established in order ensure that all students perform to a very high standard. Successful students can opt to select a course that suits them the best, ranging from one month to one-year courses.

Through our unique proprietary curriculum, we offer music instruction to the youngest members of the musical community, aged 7 years and above.

Umara Music students have the option of completing the One-year course and be assessed at the end of the year and awarded a certificate endorsed by the department of vocational training Sri lanka.
