The school offers students both individual or group lessons in all styles of singing and a foundation in basic music theory, aural skills, and building stage confidence. The school emphasizes on collaborative performance by providing students many opportunities to participate in the Choir and various other ensembles. Group classes are organized in small batches to assure greater interactivity and individual attention.

Conveniently located in Pelawatte, UMS is a modern academy that is characterized by its friendly ambience that complements students’ coaching sessions to be enjoyable. UMS is fully air-conditioned and equipped with rehearsal rooms, changing rooms including showers, waiting room and refreshments with free Wi-Fi.

All our voice training sessions are offered personally by Umara and other seasoned professionals.

Guided by our passion for harnessing individual vocal standards, respect for the individual, respect for culture, and a tenacious commitment to groom local talent, we seek to lead with a new coaching model amongst private voice coaching schools in Sri lanka. We envision Umara Music as a vibrant center that fosters an enduring passion for vocal training amongst enthusiastic students, while deploying the unique power of expression to enhance Sri Lankan talent.
